		<description>Thanks for taking the time to repond! I would definitely recommned Jean Gibb&#039;s book which is FULL of wonderful community building activities..it really is amazing. I have a lot to learn as well. I am just beginning to take my classes down this road.

		<description>Bravo Mirjan!  As always, i am inspired by your approach.  I think that many teachers are resistant to building community in their classrooms for two main reasons:

1.  Historically, &quot;the system&quot; does not encourage this type of interaction with our students.

2.  Teacher can not imagine what a positive classroom community actually looks like.

Thanks for sharing!  No doubt i will need some guidance in developing my own teaching practice in this way.</description>
